Now we’re in October, Halloween is just around the corner – and if you’re throwing a party, or going out to scare the neighbours, you’ll want to look your best.
We’ve barely packed away our bikinis (not that we got much use out of them this year!) and a big change in the seasons is afoot. There’s a definite chill in the air (not to mention the terrible storms and floods some parts of the country have been experiencing) and fashion has turned decidedly autumnal.
As the seasons change, it’s important to look after your hair as well as your skin. The rigours of autumn and winter can cause all kinds of problems including frizz, dryness, split ends and hair breakage.
There are lots of niggles that your skin can face and acne is one of the biggest – and most problematic. Luckily there are steps you can take to reduce discomfort and improve the appearance of acne.
We’re certainly holding out for an Indian summer here at Style Compare, but even if we do get a late blast of lovely weather, we need to prepare for the changing seasons. With less daylight hours, and cooler evenings, the more we can do to strengthen our skin – and pamper it in advance of the winter – the better we’ll look come Christmas.
