I have problematic skin and prone to itchy reaction patch's on my face. I started using this product and have recommended it to my friends with similar issues as it has eradicated this issue for me. It also makes my skin feel soft and comfortable.

Zero stars (it makes me give one star but I would give zero if I could). Can't even express how disappointed I am!!!! A year ago I discovered the original barrier repair and it revolutionised my skin!
This reformulation is AWFUL! Leaves my skin dry, red, stinging.... I shall be sending it back straight away. It took me twenty years to find a product that suited my skin, and now they've gone and done away with it!!!! Pleeeeeease bring back the original.

The old product was definitely far superior. This product smells very fuel-like and whilst I have always used barrier repair as a base for my make up, the consistency of the new product is wrecking my make up brushes. Very disappointed Dermalogica!!!

I recently purchased the barrier repair cream and it is amazing like the rest of the Dermalogica range, although the range is expensive it is fab to use. I have noticed a change for the better in my skin.

Great before using Skin Smoothing Cream, perfectly protect my skin from cold Danish weather, absolutely love it. Beauty Flash is great and much lower prices than Denmark.

I do like this product it keeps my face smooth and soft which is great for a pensioner. I do think the price is too high but I still buy - maybe you should review your prices as pensions don't go to far these days.

This is a lovely product which leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and hydrated. Only downside is the small amount you get for price!!! However cannot do without it!

I always thought my skin was ok although a little problematic at times. When I discovered how dehydrated my skin was and actually how sensitive and I switched to the skin calming range, I was amazed at the result. I absolutely love Barrier Repair, it leaves a lovely silky feel to the skin and my make up now stays put.

I am very disappointed with the new Ultra Calming range. The new Ultra Calming Barrier Repair and the new Ultra Calming Cleanser are causing me a lot of problems with skin irritation/extreme dryness-flaking around the eye area. I am scared to try the UltraCalming Mist.

I am a beauty student at college and have just started doing facials. At the moment the products we get in our kits are not very good and i have been coming out in rashes and blemishes. Fortunately a member of the Dermalogica team came in and went through all there amazing products and the barrier repair was by far my favourite as it is great for sensitive skin. It contains vitamin C's and E's that cool the skins surface as well as giving it that moisture it needs and it can also be used as a primer which is great for long days in make up to protect the skins natural moisture and texture. I highly recommend this product if you have reacting sensitive skin.

Someone gave me a sample to try as I was bemoaning the fact I could buy Dermalogica as it was a professional product. Much to my delight I discovered that I could buy it on the internet through Beauty Flash and it wasn't as expensive as I thought. I've reached an age when my skin dries out, feels like crepe paper and probably looked it too! I slather Barrier Repair on it both night and day and I can truly say that my skin feels wonderful.

This is great for my sensitive skin. Over time, I found it really stopped breakouts of itchy, flakey patches and redness. It makes my skin more comfortable.

OH NO! Why has Dermalogica gone and changed the formula of Barrier Repair? With my extremely sensitive skin the old formula was the only moisturiser I have ever found that did not give me spots. Now, thanks to the new formula, I get spots and whiteheads. I am devastated that Dermalogica have gone and done this. It is the same with UltraCalming Cleanser which I can also no longer use. After being a loyal customer for a decade I can no longer use these products. If I could no stars I would. Gutted.

I bought this product after I had an outbreak of dermatitis on my chin area! Putting this on felt amazing - no stinging, but soothed and calmed my dry irritated skin! Now that my dermatitis is cleared up I still love the way it feels!! Makes my skin feel like silk!

This product is so versatile. A definite favourite of my Dermalogica products. I use it when my skin is getting a little red (I suffer from eczema) I have also used it on a burn on my finger from the oven, the next day you could barely tell I had done anything. My husband uses it after shaving too. This is a must have for anyone and everyone!

This is a truly different moisturiser- I have tried so many and all ended up leaving an oily residue that caused my makeup to slide and left me shiny faced by lunchtime- not a good look. Also I suffer from breakouts which again isn't great! The texture of barrier repair is at first a bit odd- it just seems to disappear into my skin, making me wonder if it was really working. However, after a few weeks the difference in my skin is remarkable. I use it over clearing mattifier and my skin is clear, fresh and so healthy looking. My makeup stays put, shine is no longer a problem, but most of all my skin is balanced- a first for me. It does moisturise but without that heavy oil slick sensation. The silicone creates a great protective barrier and redness and breakouts are minimised. It's a great product- my skin is calmer, feels supple, and I can even go without foundation now. Highly recommended.
