 This just does not compare to the Soothing Protection Spray which it replaced. My skin gets tighter with each use. Really aggravates both my skin and my state of mind! Am looking for something else asap after 18 years! Why on earth did Dermalogica take such a retrogressive step... money I suppose?

Please, please, please bring back Soothing Protection Spray!!! This just doesn't compare - I wouldn't even say it's as moisturising as the multi-active toner - the description sounds fine but there's no soothing/ no moisturising. My skin is deteriorating daily, I am so angry I spent my hard earned money on this. I have been a loyal Dermalogica customer for years and your products have created wonderful skin for me. So why would you do this? Please listen to your other loyal customers and bring back Soothing Protection Spray. It was perfect. One spray and my skin was instantly drenched and happy. I now have small lumps coming up on my forehead and my face is getting redder and redder (exactly what this new spray says its stopping) and it just doesn't feel right - it doesn't feel moisturising, my skin isn't happy wearing it. It's just so wrong to delete a product like you have that people have been using for years. Keep your loyal customers for goodness sakes - look at the reviews and please being Soothing Protection Spray back. I literally don't know what to do without it.

This product has got to be one of the best dermalogica has come up with. Me, as a person who tries various products from Dermalogica, can notice the difference in face moisture, texture and color. Really good for people with white or dark patches as this toner can fade the face into one beautiful shade.. Wouldn't buy any other toner! Also, I would like to say that the bottle is never ending (which is a GOOD thing) and it saves me more money as the price for it is reasonable.

After using another well known skin care range my skin has become very irritated and sore, ive been using this spray for just over a week and have to say WOW! It has totally helped soothe my skin from the very first spray, I won't be using anything else.

I've only been using this product for a week and must say WOW I've been using another very well known brand (to save some money) which totally stripped my skin, in a matter of days this toner has completely rid my skin of soreness and the red blotches, I'm loving it, love love love it

I have never been attached to most things in my life, but i dont know what it is about this toner that just wont let me buy another brand. Dermalogica is one of the best brand, it tones my face so well! My rednees and spots vanished and it was amazing to watch happen when you have a sore face. AMAZING PRODUCT!!!

My beautician introduced me to this for when my face flares up and is very sore and red, it calms it down immediately, wouldnt be without it, well worth getting if you suffer with rosenea, it definitely suits me, wouldnt hesitate to recommend it

This mist is lovely, my skin always feels much better for it. It smells nice and I really believe it does minimise discomfort after cleansing. A must before moisturiser.

Never tried original one but I really liked this product I've always had problems using toners, they usually bring me out in rash. I was recommended this range by beautician and it really works!

I would give this product zero stars if I could. Unfortunately the amazing Soothing Protection Spray has been discountinued and this is its replacement. What a disapointment! This actually aggravates my skin and makes it feel tight and dry. The Soothing Protection Spray was amazing and gave a protective, moisturizing barrier. I find that the Barrier Repair cream is not as effective on my skin using this product with it. Lets hope that if enough people write poor reviews on this product they will bring the Soothing Protection Spray back.

I ordered this as a replacement for Soothing Protection Spray as it is now discontinued. Unfortunately it is, for my eczema prone sensitive skin at least, a poor replacement. It left my skin stinging, red, dry, itchy and requiring lots of TLC to get it back to its usual Dermalogica state of happiness (and I foolishly tried on more than once occasion as I thought it couldn't possibly be an ultracalming product!). I won't be using again I'm afraid - lucky I only ordered a 50ml bottle!

I bought this to replace the old Soothing Protection Spray that I have been using for years. So disappointed with this product. It is not nearly as good as the Soothing Protection pray and leaves my skin sticky and dry. Please bring back the old Soothing Protection Spray as it was a fantastic product.

I bring this EVERYWHERE with me. It makes you feel refreshed and soothes any stinging from acne. I even gave a bottle to my sister to use when she was giving birth and she gave the thumbs up! :)

This is my new hero Dermalogica product. I'm relying on it during the current sunny spell to calm and cool my sensitive skin. In hot weather, my face suffers from redness and in the sun it can feel tight and uncomfortable, even though I wear a high spf. However, spritzing this on my skin helps to quickly bring down the redness and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. It's non-sticky and easily absorbed, with minimal fragrance. I'd recommend packing it in your cooler bag if you're spending a day on the beach or in the park.

I tried this product since Dermalogica has discontinued their Soothing Protection Spray and I understood that this was their replacement. What a disappointment! The smell is just unbearable and the product stung my skin. Not at all soothing or calming. I sent it back to my usual supplier for a refund and ordered 18 months supply of the original Soothing Protection Spray from Beauty Flash instead (who still have it) to keep me going for the immediate future.

Soothing and calming toner. This product is really refreshing. It calms tight skin and the spray effect means skin isn't dried out, or any product wasted!
This can also be used over make-up and through the day as needed. Perfect skin calmer!
