Adding a SPF into your skincare routine is an essential especially in the summer months. This step is often looked over and skipped in most people’s routines especially here in the UK as we rarely have mega sunny days and when we do we forget to apply SPF to our faces. Not only do we need an SPF for sun protection it also protects our skin from pollution. We wanted to share with you some of our favourite products which include SPF so your skin can be protected without having to think about it!
Primers – for those makeup lovers, adding an SPF in your primer can be a great solution to adding your SPF into your routine. Not only will it protect your skin from the environmental factors it will also help to keep your makeup on all day. Moisturisers- the easiest way to cooperate SPF into your routine as moisturiser is usually applied first thing in the morning then you are set up and protected for the day. Foundations, Tints, BB Creams- using your makeup base to add your SPF is a quick and easy way to protect your skin. As a light and moisturising base on a summer’s day we suggest the Decleor Hydra Floral Multi Protection BB Cream. This BB cream comes in 3 shades – light, medium and dark. For those of you who do prefer an actual SPF product and for it to be applied individually we suggest using the Dermalogica Solar Defense Booster SPF50 – Add critical UVA and UVB defense with this Broad Spectrum sunscreen for all skin conditions. Formulated without artificial fragrances and colours. A high SPF which can be applied after moisturiser as a protective base or mixed with your moisturiser, makeup base or anything other face product. When mixed with a moisturiser it reduces the SPF to 35 instead of 50.
