Dermalogica Calm Water Gel, a new launch from Dermalogica which we are still obsessed with.
Dermalogica say – Calm Water Gel is a necessity for clients who tend to experience dehydration and irritation along with skin sensitivity. This weightless water gel moisturiser transforms into a skin quenching fluid upon activation, forming a weightless barrier against environmental assault.
We say – it does exactly that, it sinks into the skin beautifully and quickly! You can see and feel instant relief on the skin. Also, works amazingly with the new Barrier Defence Booster that it was launched with. A great product for those who don’t like to feel product on their skin. A member of our team recently took it on a skiing holiday and used it every morning and night so shield from the extreme environment and weather conditions and it worked a treat!
Amazing Cosmetics Illuminate Primer and Highlighter
Amazing Cosmetics say- Transform skin from dull to radiant in a flash.
Ideal for prolonging the wear time of foundation and concealer, this light-weight, water-based primer immediately brightens and evens out skin tone as well as blurring small imperfections. The addition of delicate daisy extract helps fade dark spots for a smoother, more uniform complexion over time.
We say – literally AMAZING. A lovely primer which adds a veil of glow over your skin which is ideal for spring to enhance your fresh spring look. The product also works well over base products as a subtle highlighter along the high points of the cheeks, down the bridge of the nose and on the brow bone.
Decleor Systeme Corps Gradual Glow Hydrating Body Milk
Decleor say – A light moisturiser that helps intensely nourish and gradually tan the body.
Rich in moisturising and softening active ingredients, this formula brings together the Extract of Vanilla from Tahiti with Magnolia Essential Oil, in a light and melting texture. Your skin looks beautiful, with a gorgeous top-to-toe sun-kissed glow.
We say- A lovely gradual tan which moisturises and if used on a regular basis offers a lovely glow and tan to the body (not an orange fake tan but a sun-kissed glow). 2 of the main reasons we love this tan is because it doesn’t smell like tan and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky and that you must stand and air your body until it dries. It sinks straight in and clothes can be applied straight away.
Jessica Say- Basecoat and topcoat for peeling nails.
Bonds the nails delicate layers, using rubberised resins and Vitamins A and D to strengthen and condition for growth.
We say – a member of a team started to use this after it being recommended by our Jessica representative after expressing concerns about peeling nails. It works! It is applied every other day, a layer along the nail and run the brush along the end of nail to stop damage to the end of the nail. It has dramatically reduced the peeling nails and will continue to be used.
Tigi Bedhead Dumb Blonde Shampoo
Tigi Say – Shampoo for after highlights.
pH balanced shampoo, with keratin and milk protein, to help reconstruct and care for chemically treated hair.
We say – The smell is lush and even though it isn’t used on blonde hair as the name would suggest however, it works wonderfully and keep the colour looking rich and fresh. Also a little bit goes a long way which is great for the bank.
Moroccan Oil say -Create an instant shine with long term conditioning.
We say – it’s a favourite for a reason. It creates a beautiful shine and conditioning exactly what Moroccan Oil say. It also reduces the hairs drying time and makes your hair look healthy. What’s not to love? If you haven’t tried it yet, then you should!
Dermalogica AGE Smart Multivitamin Hand and Nail Treatment
Dermalogica say – An intense, non-greasy treatment of botanicals and vitamins to protect and repair chapped hands while strengthening nails against splitting and peeling.
We say – we are using our hands all day here whether it’s on a computer, sorting deliveries, packing our customers orders or simply making a cup of tea for all the staff here our hands go through the works! This hand cream is used by nearly everyone here as it offers instant hydration again and sinks in quickly. The smell is also lovely!
Kerastase Resistance Bain Volumifique
Kerastase say – The first thickening effect shampoo that helps fine hair to create a feather-light volume.
We say – this shampoo is great as it not only adds volume but shine and strength to the hair. It makes your hair feel clean and detoxed without it feeling stripped, flat and boring!
