A new brand to us here at Beauty Flash so we thought we would give you a little more information so you can love it as much as we do!
What is it? Body wash infused buffer with the finest skincare ingredients.
Spongelle’s body buffers will transform your bathing ritual into a beyond cleansing experience. These luxurious buffers are designed to moisturise and rejuvenate your skin from neck to toe. A unique surface changes from exfoliating to as soft as silk texture. A body wash which adds hydration, exfoliates and massages the skin in 1, what’s not to love?
Each buffer is 85 grams, contains extracts of Yuzu, Edelweiss and Vetiverand and is said to have 14 plus washes in.
Each buffer also is: – Hypoallergenic – Dermatologist tested – Cruelty free
The Spongelle comes in 6 different fragrances including a men’s one.
And finally the Mens Super Buffer which is slightly different however, just as amazing. Infused with the finest skincare ingredients and Verbena Absolute scent. Enriched with hydrating coconut oil and a blend of energising extracts to leave skin feeling smooth and clean shower after shower. The men’s buffer is a little larger at 99.2grams and provides over 20 washes. – Scrub, cleanse and hydrate – Contains extracts of Vetiver and Yuzu – Suitable for all skin types.
To use: Place sponge under water, squeeze to absorb. Massage in to cleanse skin. Squeeze out excess water after each use.
Here at Beauty Flash we wanted to test the product so here is some of our opinions –
I tried the Spongelle in the Papaya Yuzu fragrance.
Packaging – Firstly the sponge is beautifully packaged in a bright orange box which looks very luxurious for a sponge (perfect for a gift) and at the top of the box is a little gap so you can smell the sponge before you use. The sponge inside is wrapped up securely in extra packaging.
The Sponge it’s self – all the buffers are white it comes in a cute flower shape (the men’s one doesn’t unfortunately) and it is fairly hard. It took it in the shower and let it run under the water for about 30 seconds to soften it a little bit as I still wanted it to be a little hard to benefit from the exfoliating and massage properties however the original state for me was a little too hard. As soon as you start working it over your body is lathers so you can wash and produces just the right amount of product which smells incredible. When I was done, I gave it a little rinse, trying not to squeeze too hard as I did not want to use more product than I needed however, after using it for a solid 2 weeks the product is still going (probably not for much longer but you definitely get your 14 washes out of it.)
The product also comes with a very handy handle 😉 so you can hang it up in your shower when you are done.
Overall, I love this product. A great multipurpose shower product for those who don’t have a lot of time to use 3 different products in the shower or also a great one for those who want to add a bit of luxury to their shower routine. The Spongelle would also be perfect for holidays this summer.

I tested the Coconut Verbena scent and my first impression was how delicious the smell is! Absolutely my favourite.
I really liked the idea of a body wash and sponge in one. Although I am not currently on holiday just testing it at home put me in the holiday mood.
I did find the sponge a little hard at first so it is a good idea to really soak the sponge in water at first. This produced a great lather and then from there it was plain sailing.
I liked the fact that because it was all in one I also got a gentle exfoliation with the sponge – more than I would with a traditional shower gel and flannel.
While I can see this as a great addition to your holiday I am also happy to use it at home and I switch between this and my normal shower gel – just depends on my mood!
